Conatus

A record, not a scoreboard

Log the day you had.

Thirty seconds a day. On Sunday, your own words come back.

Free. No account, no ads, no tracking. Private. Your entries stay on your phone unless you add your own AI key and tap send.

Coming soon to the App Store.

For iPhone. In English and Russian.

Every day, on Today

Five areas, one honest number each

Meals & errands, Thinking, Creation, Body and Connection. For each one you pick 0 didn’t happen, +1 a little, or +2 a real block of the day. You score what you did. How the day felt stays out of the score: a day you felt terrible but still trained is a +2 for Body.

Mood and body signals are noted, never scored. Rest is an answer: set the day to Rest and nothing breaks, because there are no streaks here to break. Miss a day and you lose nothing.

Every Sunday, the week review

A thought for later comes back on Sunday

One field on Today holds a thought you want to see again. Tap Set aside, and it stays out of today’s note. On Sunday the week review opens on Today, and your saved thoughts return one card at a time.

  • Keep: this still matters.
  • Let go: stop showing it. It stays in the archive.
  • It happened: Conatus adds it to today’s note.

Yours, on this phone

No account. No server. Your record stays on your phone.

Everything you write is stored on the device. The developer cannot see it. Export writes your whole record to one file that you keep, and Import restores it on a new phone.

History shows your days, weeks and months, and search covers your notes. The Mirror opens after 14 logged days, and more of it opens as your record grows. It speaks in counts, like “You logged scores or rest on 24 of the last 30 days.” It never advises, and never comments on your mood.

Optional, with your own key: an AI summary of a week or a month from Anthropic or OpenAI. The app shows what it will send and asks before the first send. The request goes straight from your phone to the provider, and no developer server sits in between.
